SUMMER EMPLOYMENT FOR WARWICK RESIDENTS

SUMMER JOB LOTTERY

The City of Warwick is now accepting applications for the Summer Lottery for a limited number of summer positions as laborers, recreation leaders and clerk typists. Applicants will be selected by lottery to ensure fair and equal treatment.

SUMMER EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS

Requirements:

To be eligible must be a student at least 17 years of age (18 for a laborers position), a resident of Warwick with plans to continue your education full-time in September.  Background checks may be conducted.

Lottery Positions:
         

  • Summer Laborers – will be assigned to the Public Works Department.   $7.40 per hour - 40 hours per week – 11 weeks
  • Recreation Leaders – will be responsible for planning and running activities, supervising and interacting with large groups of children.

              $7.40 per hour - 20 hours per week Tuesday-Friday- 5 weeks

Non-Lottery Positions:
                                         
          Lifeguards – Must be certified
