WARWICK – The Department of Public Works is alerting residents that, due to an error in the calendar template, the 2008 City of Warwick calendar incorrectly lists the date for Martin Luther King Day.
The correct date is January 21, not January 14. Therefore, residents are advised that trash and recycling pickup will be delayed one day for the week of January 21. Normal trash collection will take place the week of January 14.
The city sincerely apologizes for the error and any confusion it may have caused.
