Voter Registration

In order to register to vote, you may visit the office, request that a form be mailed to you, or obtain a form on line at the Rhode Island Board of Elections web site. The voter registration form is multi-purpose and may be used for address changes, name changes, and changes of party affiliation. Please be advised that you must be registered to vote 30 days prior to voting in any primary or election as mandated by Rhode Island General Law § 17-1-3. Party affiliation changes become effective 90 days after the change is submitted with this office.
