Ward 1 neighbors:
I have initiated this blog in order to keep you informed of what is happening in Ward 1 and throughout the city. I encourage you to periodically check into see what is happening and, if and when you have questions, contact me. I have had the opportunity to speak to many residents over the past month on issues such as snow removal, sidewalk clearing, caring for dogs appropriately when walkiing them, the budget, recycling and trash removal and taxes. Going forward, I welcome all of your thoughts and ideas on all of these issues or any others that may affect you. It is my goal to be as available as possible throoughout my tenure.
Lastly, there are difficult time ahead of us but we need to stay focused on solutions - solutions for now and soltuions going forward. It is important that before we make up our minds on what happens next we gather the necessary facts to make an informed decision. This is my approach and how I will work for you.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely:
Steve C. Ward1
