The primary goal of the Board of Canvassers is to operate in accordance with title 17 of the Rhode Island General Laws and the Charter of the City of Warwick.

The mission of the Board of Canvassers is to maintain the highest standards of professionalism in the electoral process and for the voters of the City of Warwick.

The Board of Canvassers works in conjunction with the Rhode Island State Board of Elections and the Secretary of State’s office, to provide the highest level of integrity in all elections.

THREE WAYS TO VOTE in Rhode Island :

VOTE BY MAIL - Voting from home is a safe and easy options for those voters who do not wish to vote in-person.  Registered Voters who complete their mail ballot application and return it by the deadline will have a mail ballot sent to them.  Return your voted ballot by mail using the materials provided or deposit in the 24/7 Official Mail Ballot Drop Box located outside the left rear entrance to City Hall.  You may track your mail ballot from application to certification at the Board of Elections by clicking BallotTrax.  Your ballot must be received by 8:00pm on Election day.

VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON AT CITY HALL prior to Election Day - Begins on the 20th day preceding Election day.  VOTE at the City Hall polling site during regular business hours from 8:30am - 4:30pm.  Early In-person voting ends at 4:00pm the day before Election day.  Please bring a valid form of ID.  

VOTE AT YOUR POLLING LOCATION ON ELECTION DAY - Vote at your polling location on Election day from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.  Please visit the link above or contact this office to confirm you polling location, voter registration information, and Election day information.  Please bring a valid form of ID.
