Free Webspace Initiative for Warwick Organizations PDF Print E-mail
As part of an ongoing effort to promote recreational and athletic programs available throughout the city, Mayor Scott Avedisian is pleased to announce that the Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the MIS Division, will offer free space at warwickri.gov for any qualified Warwick group. The web pages will provide contact information, descriptions of the organization, and space for one picture or logo, Avedisian said. Those groups that already have their own website will still be allowed to participate, with a link to their site added to their section. Each organization will be responsible for providing web master Robert W. Martin with updated information when applicable.The following organizations have taken advantage of this opportunity:

Athletic Organizations

INSTRUCTORS WANTED

The City of Warwick Recreation Dept is in search of individuals with special skills they are willing to share with all age groups and ability levels. Instructors are key in our efforts to meet the lifelong learning and recreational needs of the Warwick citizens. Classes can be a onetime workshop or a series.
Some examples of classes but not limited to:

Fitness/Dance
Fine Arts/Crafts/Decorating
Self Defense/Martial Arts
Music
Cuisine/Nutrition
Language
