General Rentals

McDermott pool is available on Saturday and Sunday evenings for private rentals by all groups. The rental rate is $70 per hour, to be prepaid in full for the use of the pool and its facilities. All pool rentals must be made in person

Special Rentals

Birthday Party Special - The pool may be rented on Saturday or Sunday from 11:00AM - Noon for the fee of $50, to be prepaid. This rental is limited to twenty (20) people and must be made in person.

Note: The City of Warwick reserves the right to cancel or change all programs as necessary to accommodate the proper operation and maintenance(i.e. swim meets, filtration work, electrical work, etc.) of the McDermott Pool facility. We also reserve the right to revoke the swim privileges of any and all individuals who do not comply with all rules and regulations.
 

Athletic Organizations

As part of an ongoing effort to promote recreational and athletic programs available throughout the city, the Parks and Recreation Department offers free webspace at warwickri.gov for any qualified Warwick group.


Warwick's Waterfront

From fishing and boating to beaches and cool breezes, Warwick's 39 miles of coastline along Narragansett Bay provides ample opportunities for waterfront enthusiasts!

INSTRUCTORS WANTED

The City of Warwick Recreation Dept is in search of individuals with special skills they are willing to share with all age groups and ability levels. Instructors are key in our efforts to meet the lifelong learning and recreational needs of the Warwick citizens. Classes can be a onetime workshop or a series.
Some examples of classes but not limited to:

Fitness/Dance
Fine Arts/Crafts/Decorating
Self Defense/Martial Arts
Music
Cuisine/Nutrition
Language
