This is an exciting time to be a resident of the City of Warwick. Never in its 360 years of existence has it seen such unprecedented growth, opportunity, and change. With this in mind, we have compiled a variety of resource pages to assist you in learning more about the major issues which are playing a role in the future of our great city. Upon evaluating these topics, take the time to contact your elected officials so that you may offer insight as to how your government should proceed.

  • T.F. Green Airport - Perhaps the most intense point of contention within the City of Warwick is the dramatic rise of this facility.
  • Greenwich Bay Initative - Greenwich Bay is an estuary—a semi-enclosed inlet of the sea in which seawater is diluted with fresh water. It contains five protected coves with five square miles of shallow waterand is embraced by a 26-square-mile watershed. Greenwich Bay is a highly productive estuary that has provided people with food, shelter, transportation, trade, and recreational opportunities for centuries. However, the impacts of land uses in bordering Warwick and East Greenwich, and, to a smaller degree, West Warwick, have led to a serious water quality decline in the bay.
