Family Health & Wellness Programs at Buttonwoods

Ongoing programs and services
• Wellness Clinic Services: Walk-in Monday through Friday (8:30am-4:30pm) or call for a individual appointment.
• “Enduring Diabetes Together” support group: Meets every Wednesday from 1:30pm-3:00pm.
• “Smoke Free Me” Tobacco Treatment Program: individual preparation by appointment followed by weekly meetings every Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

  • "Safe Sitter" Better Sitters today...Better parents tomorrow. A medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls ages 11 to 13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. The class teaches safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies. Includes CPR instruction. Material Fee: $25.00

  • American Heart Association, CPR Instruction Classes: BLS Healthcare Provider; Heartsaver AED; Family and Friends. Mayor Avedisian invites you to help make Warwick a "Heart Safe Community" by learning CPR. Be prepared to save a life. Call 468-4103 for the class schedule.
  • Finding Relief for the Pain After Shingles: FREE Educational seminar - Wednesday, 1/23/08 1:30-2:15 PM
    Attendees will learn about and receive valuable information on the signs and symptoms and causes of post-shingles pain, as well as up-to-date treatment information.

  • Tobacco Treatment Program: "Smoke-Free Me"
  • Therapeutic Lifestyle Change (LTC) counseling
  • Group Wellness programming and Activity Development
