Focus of Organization:
Apponaug girls softball is a non profit organization which was organized as the successor to the Warwick Recreation Softball League. Our league was founded in 1981 by Kathy Carlson to offer girls in Warwick and the State of Rhode Island an opportunity to play softball as well as to develop social skills and sportsmanship.

Our league offers recreation seasons in spring and fall which are the largest in Rhode Island. Girls everywhere in Rhode Island play at Winslow Park - Rhode Island's finest facility with six fields.

Our league annually hosts the largest tournaments in Rhode Island each summer with over 30 teams at each tournament. Teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, and Rhode Island participate annually.

Apponaug girls softball is affiliated with ASA and Pony and has softball divisions for girls ages 5 through senior year in High School. Registration forms can be downloaded from our website for our January through March Spring Registration or our July / August Fall registration.
