The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick Fact Sheet
- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick is a private, non-profit organization working to help youth of all backgrounds, with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become independent, responsible citizens and leaders.
- Our Mission Statement: “To inspire and enable all young people especially those from disadvantaged circumstances To realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens”
- A Boys & Girls Club provides:
- A safe place to learn and grow.
- Ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals.
- Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.
- Hope and opportunity
- Our core services include activities such as educational games, tutoring, drug prevention, sports and physical education, recreation, arts & crafts, and environmental awareness, etc. All for a yearly membership of $15.
- We also offer affordable fee-based programs such as after-kindergarten and after-school Child Care, Summer Camp and a Youthoop Basketball League.
- The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick have a substantial presence in the Warwick community. We have two Club facilities open every day after school (Norwood Club & Oakland Beach Club). We are open for full day childcare during school vacation weeks and operate a summer day camp.
