American Red Cross Progressive Swim Lessons:
This program is designed for children 5 1/2 years and older. The objective
of the program is to teach children to be safe in and around water.
Skills taught include water adjustment, buoyancy and breathe control,
water entry and exit, locomotion, turns and personal safety.
Monday/Wednesday - 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm (fee)
Tuesday/Thursday - 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm (fee)
American Red Cross Pre-School Aquatics Program:
This program is designed for children 3 to 5 years old to help them
become comfortable in and around the water. It helps give parents information
and techniques to help orient their children to the water and to supervise
water activities in a safe manner. This program requires a parent in
the water with the child and is not designed to teach the children to
swim on their own. The class meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings for
8, 1/2 hour sessions.

Senior Exercise Program:
The program is designed for seniors 55 years and older who wish to increase
flexibility, muscle tone and overall fitness. Come meet new friends
and socialize. The class meets Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings
from 9:30AM-10:00AM for the Fall, Winter & Spring. The program is
instructed by a senior volunteer.
Adult Water Aerobics:
Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Call 738-2000 x. 6809 for dates and times.

Adult Organized Swim Workout:
Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 - 9:00PM Deep end. Please call 738-2000

The City of Warwick also has a warm water therapy pool on the premises. Please call 738-2000, ext. 6809 for more information.
McDermott Pool reserves the right to revoke the swim
privileges of any and all individuals who do not comply with all rules
and regulations.
