09/05/07 - Sewer Authority announces $500K grant, new website, cost-saving energy program, andproject update on Warwick Cove IIB – Thomas P. Stone, chairman of the Warwick Sewer Authority, Frank J. Sylvia, its interim executive director, and Mayor Scott Avedisian announced today several positive developments at the Authority, including a $500,000 grant, a new, more resident-friendly website, participation in an energy program designed to conserve environmental resources while saving the Authority money each month, and an update on the Warwick Cove IIB project.
09/05/07 - NEW REGULATION #61 - INFLOW-INFILTRATION FEE - The Warwick Sewer Authority has adopted Regulation #61 which allows all new residential properties containing a structure larger than a duplex unit and commercial properties containing a structure to connect into the existing sewer connection pending the payment of an inflow-infiltration fee. (Effective Date: September 10, 2007)
09/05/07 - Warwick Sewer Authority awards Scholarships to Warwick Seniors - For the fourth year in a row, the Warwick Sewer Authority has awarded scholarships to three college bound Warwick Seniors. Checks in the amount of $2,000.00 were presented to Michael Danna from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School, Molly Smith from Pilgrim High School, and Kathryn Romelczyk from Toll Gate High School. The scholarships are awarded in memory of John A. Caruso, a past chairman of the Warwick Sewer Authority.
