  • Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) - The Rhode Island Airport Corporation was formed on December 9, 1992 as a semi-autonomous subsidiary of what is now known as the state Commerce Corporation to operate and maintain the state's airport system. The powers of the corporation are vested in its seven-member board of directors, who are appointed by the Governor of the State of Rhode Island. RIAC is responsible for the oversight of Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, as well as five general aviation airports, including Block Island, Quonset, North Central, Newport, and Westerly, throughout Rhode Island. Iftikhar Ahmad is presently RIAC's president and CEO. Jonathan N. Savage is the Board Chairman, a position he's held since 2014.
  • Intermodal Facility - The highly-anticipated Warwick intermodal facility, known as the InterLink, opened for service in 2010. The InterLink offers MBTA commuter train service between Warwick, Providence and Boston. The InterLink also provides service to Wickford Junction in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The facility, which has the first elevated fueling platforms in the United States, also houses a consolidated rental car facility for all airport rental car operations. The six-level parking garage includes approximately 1,800 spaces for rental car operators and 800 for rail commuters. Importantly, it also includes a 1,200-foot, elevated, enclosed skywalk with moving sidewalks that connects the InterLink to the Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport terminal. Additionally, there is a bus hub for local and intercity bus services. The InterLink is located at 700 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick.
  • Annual Report - RIAC released its first annual report in 2021, in conjunction with the 90th anniversary celebration of Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport. The report, prepared entirely by RIAC staff, offers an overview of the agency's General Aviation Airport Strategic Business Plan and the recently-approved Master Plan, both of which are intended to serve as a blueprint for future capital improvements and infrastructure upgrades at all state airports.
