Welcome to WARWICK RIdership

All Warwick municipal facilities are conveniently located on RIPTA bus lines.   With this in mind, it is the overall goal of the Warwick RIdership initiative to educate people as to the easiest way to interact with city government using the public transportation system of RIPTA.

DIRECTIONS: To determine the most convenient RIPTA bus route, first select your desired location from the options listed below. You will be redirected to our Google application where you will be asked to enter your starting location and your desired departure time. Upon completion, click the "Get Directions" button and your most convenient route will be provided for you with times, transfers, and printable directions.

  • Rocky Point Walking Path
    • One mile of shoreline walkways with exquisite views of Narragansett Bay
    • PLEASE NOTE: From the bus stop to the entrance of the Rocky Point Walking Path is 0.9 miles
  • Conimicut Point Park (End of Point Ave)
    • Salt water Beach, Play equipment, Boat ramp
    • PLEASE NOTE: From the bus stop to the entrance of Conimicut Point Park is 0.8 miles
  • Oakland Beach (End of Oakland Beach Avenue)
    • Salt water beach, Play equipment 2 Gazebos Restrooms
    • PLEASE NOTE: From the bus stop to the entrance of Oakland Beach is 0.1 miles
  • City Park (185 Asylum Road)  
    • 2.75 mile walking path, Trails, 4 softball fields, Soccer , Lacrosse, Salt water Beach, Play equipment
    • PLEASE NOTE: From the bus stop to the entrance of City Park is 0.4 miles

  • Transfer - $.50
  • 1 day pass - $6.00
  • 7 day pass - $23.00
  • RIPTIKS - $20.00
  • 15 ride pass - $26.00
  • Monthly pass - $62.00
  • RIde/Paratransit - $4.00
  • Senior/Disabled Reduced Fare (off peak) - $1.00 with ID
  • Senior/Disabled No Fare - No charge with ID
  • Children under 5 ride free when accompanied by an adult


Transfers are controlled by a 2-hour time limit and are good anywhere in the system except for the same route in the same direction.

In accordance with these rules, a transfer can be used for an unlimited number of rides for up to two hours.  However, a second transfer cannot be issued from the first transfer; passengers must pay full fare.  Also, the pass back feature of the farebox will not allow the transfer to be reused on the same bus within 10-minutes.

*Low income persons with a disability or age 65 and above may ride free of charge with a RIPTA NO FARE ID PASS. All other persons age 65 and above or with a disability pay full fare during RIPTA peak hours of service (7am-9am and 3pm-6pm) on weekdays and pay 1/2 fare all other times upon presentation of a RIPTA Senior/Disabled ID Pass or a Medicare ID Card.
