The primary goal of the Board of Canvassers is to operate in accordance with title 17 of the Rhode Island General Laws and the Charter of the City of Warwick.

The mission of the Board of Canvassers is to maintain the highest standards of professionalism in the electoral process and for the voters of the City of Warwick.

The Board of Canvassers works in conjunction with the Rhode Island State Board of Election and the Secretary of State’s office, to provide the highest level of integrity in all elections.

There are 3 ways to vote in Rhode Island:

✔ VOTE BY MAIL - Apply for a Mail Ballot to Vote from Home

Voting from home is a safe and easy option for those voters are unable or prefer not to vote in-person. You may apply online or print a mail ballot application by Clicking Here.  You may sign-up to track your mail ballot by Clicking Here.  Registered Voters who complete their mail ballot application and return it by the deadline will have a mail ballot sent to them. Return your voted ballot by mail using the materials provided or deposit in the 24/7 Official Mail Ballot Drop Box located outside the side entrance to City Hall. Your ballot must be received by 8:00 pm on Election Day.  

Military and Overseas Voters - Rhode Island military/overseas voters use a special process to receive and return their mail ballot. The Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) provides step-by-step guidance on how a military/overseas voter can apply for and receive their mail ballot. ✔ VOTE EARLY IN-PERSON - prior to Election Day

Begins on the 20th day preceding Election Day. VOTE at the designated Early Voting polling site during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Early in-person voting ends at 4:00 pm the day before Election Day. Please bring a valid form of ID.

VOTE AT YOUR POLLING LOCATION ON ELECTION DAY
