Water Division
Warwick Water Division is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and sustainable water services to customers.
Our main tasks typically include:
Water Supply & Distribution – Ensuring a continuous and adequate supply of clean drinking water to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Infrastructure Maintenance & Upgrades – Expanding water mains, pipelines, and facilities. Replacing, repairing, and maintaining Fire Hydrants, Water Main Valves and customers shut off valves.
Billing & Revenue Collection – Installing and reading water meters, issuing bills, and collecting payments to fund operations and improvements.
Leak Detection & Conservation Programs – Identifying leaks, reducing water loss, and promoting conservation through public awareness campaigns and incentive programs.
Regulatory Compliance & Water Quality Testing – Conducting routine water sampling and reporting to federal, state, and local agencies to meet safety and environmental regulations.
Customer Service & Public Communication – Handling service requests, resolving complaints, and educating the public on water quality, conservation, and service changes.
Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management – Responding to water main breaks, contamination events, droughts, and natural disasters to maintain service reliability.
Long-Term Planning & Financial Management – Developing infrastructure improvement plans, securing funding (grants, bonds, rates), and ensuring sustainable operations for future needs.
Water Bills:
- All water bills to be paid in person must be paid at the Tax Collectors office located at 65 Centerville Rd. All bills to be mailed to City of Warwick utility Billing PO Box 981076 Boston, MA 02298-1076
