New Proposed Revaluation Figures are now available
New Proposed Assessment Valuations are now available on-line at the Vision Web Site here.
The proposed valuations reflect the results of a recently completed revaluation by the City of Warwick, RI in conjunction with Vision Government Solutions, Inc. The effective date of the revaluation was December 31, 2022. These assessments are intended to represent an assessment ratio of 100% of Fair Market Value of each property.
All of the assessments are subject to change prior to the 2023 tax roll being certified as a result of Informal Valuation Reviews that will be completed by early June. Notices are currently being mailed. Property owners who don’t receive a notice by May 16th may request a copy of their notice by calling 401-738-2005 or sending an e-mail to Revaluation@Warwickri.gov
Proposed 2023 Tax Rate of no more than: $14.76/thousand (Down from $18.73)
Proposed 2023 Commercial Tax Rate of no more than: $25.83 (Down from $28.10)
The above rates will be finalized at the completion of the FY24 budget process and the Informal Valuation Review process. Final tax rates will likely be published on or before June 15th.
