Please note if McDermott Pool is closed for a rental/meet the warm pool will also be closed.

Important Information

• Bathing suits are required.  No t-shirts, street clothes or cutoffs (i.e. denim of any kind).
• Groups of 6 or more must call in advance to reserve an open swim spot
• Lifeguards On Duty has Authority over all Pool Rules
• ALL SWIMMERS ARE REQUIRED BY STATE LAW TO SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE WATER. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE
• The City of Warwick is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not bring valuables to the pool unless they are secured by a locker. Patrons must provide their own locks for lockers and remove items daily.

• All day pass patrons must show identification and sign in at the desk

• The Warm pool is for adult usage only.  Patrons must be 18 or older to utilize.  

Age Policy for Open Swim:

Ages 0-7 (& non-swimmers) Adult supervision, in the water, is mandatory

Ages 8-12 Adult must be on pool deck in close proximity to the swimmer.

Ages 13-17 No Adult supervision required. An adult must be present to sign child/children in and leave an emergency contact. 

A swim test will be required for anyone under the age of 18 before entering deep end of the pool during open swim. This test will be administered to swimmers by our staff and will be done at every visit.
