Adult Swim- Adults aged 18 and over.

        Deep Pool ( 6 lane lines -designed for lap swim or water exercise)

        Shallow Pool (  Open-water walking, aerobics and swimming )

                         Deep Pool; Partial pool may be open ( no lap lanes )

        Shallow Pool (  Open-water walking, play, aerobics and swimming )

McDermott Pool  Closure  Dates Schedule (Holiday & Meets):

4/9 Closed for Easter           5/29  Closed for Memorial Day

Closed for meets:  April 30th, May 20th & 21st, June  3rd & 4th, 17th & 18th

The City of Warwick reserves the right to change the above schedule without notice in order to efficiently serve its residents and all other pool patrons.

Daily Pass Fees: Adults (18+) - $5.00

Children (Ages 6-17) - $3.00

Children 5 & Under—Free

Please note if McDermott Pool is closed for a rental/meet the Hot Pool will also be closed.

Important Information

· Bathing suits are required.  No t-shirts, street clothes or cutoffs

       (i.e. denim of any kind). Long hair needs to be tied back.

· Pool toys, equipment, and noodles are not allowed during Open Swim.    

· Groups of 6 or more must call in advance to reserve an open swim spot.

· ALL SWIMMERS ARE REQUIRED BY STATE LAW TO SHOWER BEFORE ENTERING THE WATER. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE.

· Lifeguard on duty has authority over pool rules.

Age Policy for Open Swim:

Ages 0-7(& non-swimmers) Adult supervision, in the water, is mandatory

Ages 8-12 Adult must be on pool deck in close proximity to

the swimmer.

Ages 13-17 No Adult supervision required. A parent or signed consent form must be filled out.

A swim test will be required for anyone under the age of 18 before entering deep end of the pool during open swim. This test will be administered to swimmers by our staff and will be done at every visit. **

PLEASE NOTE

The City of Warwick is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not bring valuables to the pool unless they are secured in a locker. All patrons must provide their own locks for lockers and remove items daily.
